Become a member

This site is collaborative. You will be able to take part in the projects and be able to contribute your opinions to the forums. By becoming a member, you also add your weight to a growing number of Science teachers who wish for their opinion to count for more.

At the moment, we ask that you be a currently practicing Science teacher or have been within the previous two years. We expect to widen the membership to include other groups in the future.

It's completely free and only takes moments. Just click here: (NOTE: There will be no button if you are already a member!)

If you have a Wikidot account, you'll be asked to log in. If you haven't got one, you'll be given one.

All that we ask is that very soon after joining you edit your profile and your forum signature to include
  • your real full name for your Wikidot "screen name" (no pseudonyms, please)
  • The number of years experience you have as a Science teacher
  • Your science specialism(s)
  • Your wider role beyond classroom teacher, if any (e.g. Head of Subject, Head of Department, SLT, AST, etc)

You can do this by clicking on my account (and then my profile) in the top right corner of the screen when you are logged in. This site is for professional collaboration and we feel that it is important that people know at least a minimum of information about those they are collaborating with. As such, we will periodically check new membership accounts and may cancel without warning any that do not have this information.
